This is a standard stereo audio cable with two RCA connectors on one end and a thick 3.5mm (1/8") connector on the other. It won't plug into devices with a recessed jack, so an adapter may be necessary. For the newer iPhones, it works fine with the lightning to 3.5mm adapter. This is a 50 foot cable and I was expecting there to be noise in the audio signal but the audio quality is pretty good and it wasn't an issue at all in my house. In a car, I'd expect some audible noise with the engine running but I also wouldn't use such a long cable in my car.The connectors and plastic strain reliefs are pretty good quality and the braided cover looks nice and helps protect the cable. The cable is shielded although I didn't take it apart to see what it looks like. It most likely surrounds the cable all the way down to help keep electrical and RF noise from entering the signal path.Cable seems like it will last and should work fine for schools, churches, or anywhere else where you might need to run a long 50 foot cable from an audio device to a sound board or powered speakers.
