This is a very nice all-brass 4-output garden hose splitter. The outlet on each of the two ends can swivel a full 360 degrees. The shutoff levers were a bit hard to turn by hand when first received but were OK after the initial turn. I suspect that when they get ‘lubricated’ with some water internally they will turn more freely.Morvat gives you nine rubber washers (you only need five). They give you some Teflon tape but I don’t know why since there are no pipe fittings to seal; only hose end male connectors. Well , save the tape for another project.This splitter is $17 on Ebay and within the price range of other 4-way splitters being offered. But I think the added feature that the two end outlets swivel makes it superior product.Note to seller: It would be good to place plastic covers over each of the male hose threads to protect them when the item is being stored. See my photo where I have installed plastic caps (that I happen to have on hand and which fit well over the male treads).It’s winter right now, as I write this, but I’m looking forward to installing it next spring. If I observe any leakage issues I’ll write an addendum to this review.
