No problems with delivery, condition, or sturdiness. It does have a soft velvety texture. I debated between this one and a similar-priced bench with leg attachments, but went with this one because of the studded trim. Now that I have it, I do wish this one had legs too to give it a more upscale look, which I think would have changed it from an average value to a great value for the price.
