I have now had 4 of these over 7+ years. New computer, new case, and this one was the one that was the most difficult to get on, and unfortunately a corner has cracked. It hasn't prevented it from staying on and protecting the computer, but I was disappointed. It is hard plastic so it is to be expected that it would fail at the corners. This one, light pink, is opaque, whereas the versions I have had in the past were just translucent enough to see the emblem light up when the lid was open. Three versions that I have had all had design issues that this one does not: the case design around the areas for charger and connectivity would get caught and snap off, or the the area around the thumb notch, again snag, crack and snap off. This case doesn't have that flaw and is super snug all around. The feel is "velvety" and the color is very true to picture.
