Very little gets pulverized in transit.No, it's not expensive when you consider it is a great substitute for raw feeding on those days when you can't get it together. I add about 9k other items to my dog's bowl but regular people can feed this as a sole component of daily intake, and feel confident you're feeding the best you can. This is a dry food that you can't beat for quality. The last product I served was very expensive and didn't last long. It was just not as filling.my baby likes this so much!
