This is a piece of junk.
This was purchased for installation in a new shower. It has female threads in the valve body. After installing exactly as the instructions said, the valve body leaked at each thread. More tape was applied, still leaked. Pipe dope was applied, still leaked. No visible crack, just poorly manufactured and threaded valve body. Manufacturer refused to take back, or refund, and was past the Best Buy return window. Its now in the trash. Stay clear, Chinese piece of junk.
