Mine arrived with the black, Japanese type, quick connect plug missing.The thread of the black, Japanese type, quick connect coupler is BSP, NOT NPT as described (see photo taken with blue BSP Fitting Identification Tool). Note that it practically doesn’t have any gaps along the 19TPI thread gauge. Compare this with the Metalwork 1/4” male BSP to 1/4” male NPT converter (silver nipple). One of the photos doesn’t have a gap (BSP end) while the other photo has an increasing gap (NPT end).The 2 gold nipples that were included in the box appear to be 1/4” male BSP to 1/4” male NPT converters too.
