this definitely works as a personal item for frontier. see my attached photo. fits perfectly in the little holder. I did pay the extra for the shoulder strap.but it is awkward to use and kind of uncomfortable. better with just the hand straps. this is the first time using it, but it seems durable. holds quite a bit. 2 dresses, 4 tops, 3 shorts, 2 pairs of pjs, toiletry/makeup bag, small camera and case, 1 pair of shoes, 2 bathing suits, and undergarments.
