The vendor didn't mention this at the time, which is only natural, and it appears that he snuck this one up on me on purpose. But that's not all; upon closer investigation, I also discovered a noticeable chip on the deck to the left, as if it were in the process of dropping. He ignored this, albeit he would have returned it and refused to buy it if he had detected the second flaw, which turned out to be considerably more severe.
