So looking at the blades side by side with the cricut brand blade: the red cap blades are identical to the name brand. However, it cut straight through the backing for my HTV as did the blue caps. The yellow cap cut almost perfect (there was one area of one letter that cut through the backing hence the one star deduction since I have never cut through once with the name brand)All in all, I can use the red and blue on cardstock and vinyl that doesn’t need to keep its backing.HUGE savings for sure
