This is an amazing robe in every way! I am 5' 7 1/2" and I would normally have ordered a L, but based on reviews that said it gaped, I went to XL. Mine wraps nearly one and a half times around me, no gaping, sleeves perfect (just past my wrists) and since I am tall, it is the perfect length. I wanted a robe that touched my ankles (so hard to find!) and this one nearly does. So if you are largish but shortish, and order your regular size, this will be too long. It is exactly what I wanted, perfect light weight for summer and fall, and plenty thick enough to not see through (I don't get what "Expected Better" below is saying?!) I'm going to order another in a different color since I've found my robe for life!
