I didn't like it, for various reasons - especially the paper. But there are some positive features to it.For those thinking of purchase, the pros and cons:Pros:- The leather is very pretty. The leatherwork itself is excellent.- The stone seems well-seated, so isn't likely to just fall off on you.Cons:- The binding is soft/flexible, so you have to write on a desk or clipboard.- The PAPER is horrendous. It's handmade, all right - but the quality is that of a paper towel, not a piece of writing paper. It was clearly pulled on a screen and not pressed very well - and it's so absorbant that even thick ink sometimes feathers on it. It's awful.Possible both or either, depending on your perspective:- The form of the book varies. Some get a clasp, some get a leather thong for closure. Sometimes the stone is teardrop shaped, sometimes oval. The pattern on the leather could be nearly anything. It's a grab-bag. So you can't choose, but they're all nice to look at.- The binding is fairly simple, so if you know how to replace the paper, you could do so. If you don't, you might want to ask a friend to try.- For scrapbookers, the paper might work - it's pretty, has flower petals in it, and will probably take glue and stuff quite well. It's nice and thick, but be careful with too much ink, as it absorbs and might soak through. Also, the book has some space, so photos and whatnot might actually fit between the pages, unlike in some books.
