While the predecessor gave out 70 for reception and 50 for transmission through two walls, ASUS RT-AC66U + USB-AC53 gave out 85 - 95 for reception, 60 - 70 for transmission. It feels like a striking difference. It is very convenient to set up, indeed, "only 5 minutes".
