Pretty but noisy. in my review
I selected this stainless steel unit for several reasons. The finish should hold up for many years to come, the steel should be durable, and prevent birds from chipping away at it like my old one. I also like the fact that this came with a gasket. My surprise came when I turned on the dryer. The fins began to oscillate, and when they did, they started clanging. I uploaded a video of the vent in "operation."The vent is pretty but I will not buy this again and start looking for a new one to replace it. The clanging sound can be heard from inside the house.
- Great quality but had to return because my blower was not powerful enough to move the louvers open.
- May not be air-tight
