Super bright light is actually 365nm unlike other cheap LEDs. Works really well for finding minerals that fluoresce under long wave UV, I mainly used it for sapphire and calcite identification/mining. It has a battery that lasts for a really long time (charger included) for a light that uses so much power that it gets hot. You will see something on the ground from using it while walking at hand height, and can see the glow of a super-fluorescent item (like a hilighter) from 8-10 ft away.It will show you stains in your carpet/bathroom you never wanted to know about, you can diagnose plant health (pink is newer growth, stems are usually green along with old growth, non-glowing is dead), animal pee, amazing patterns on bird feathers not otherwise visible, and certain fungi in your soil/on your produce.
