Let me start with my two small complaints. The first is that the covers for the battery compartments seem a bit poorly made. The second isn't so much a complaint as a preference : I wish this took AA batteries or perhaps 1 fewer AAA.That aside, I was impressed with this product. It comes in a nice box with good padding. The flower is larger than I expected. I bought this for a girl who loves glass figurines. We went into a dark room and put first the flower, then each of her other glass figurines onto the base to see how the colored lights looked on them. After that she packed the flower back up because it is 'her special' and she didn't want anything to happen to it. :) For the price I am very happy with my purchase.One thing which I think might be nice would be if the base had an ability to rotate while the lights are on. Just an idea, it's quite nice as it is.
