I took these out once for a hike in snow. Worked well. However, not sure how waterproof it is, since the snow I was on wasn't need.One little gripe is the top clip to tighten on the legs is not an easy "pull and hold". It needs an extra minute or 2 to tighten.

These are very good for the cost. Great fit.

Минусы

Keeps slipping down because the belt at the calf has no grip ie no way to tighten it as much as you want
