When I tried this seat on my boat, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was .The cushioning is perfect. The seat also has a durable construction that makes it ideal for long hours on the water. The seat COULD use a bit more cushioning for added comfort, but overall, it's a great purchase..
