I do a ton of automotive electronics and have always just used the basic crimper/stripper combo tools. They often get slightly bent and don't strip or cut properly, and it takes a good amount of force to get a good crimp which can give you hand cramps if it's a big project. This crimper tool makes it SO much easier. Plus the different attachments for different types of connectors are super useful. Nice tight & consistent crimps every time with a fraction of the effort! The matching cutting/stripping tool is nice quality too, better than the generic cheap ones I usually get. And the nice little carrying case is the icing on the cake. Keeps the tools together and organized, and you can even throw some baggies of connectors in there to have everything you need on the go. Highly recommend this set.
