My 3.5 year old is 40 inches tall and 40lbs. This fits great and is loose enough that it's comfortable. The bottoms fit perfectly. The color is more blue than it looks online, I had expected purple with white petals. It's still beautiful. She gets tons of compliments. The zipper is easy enough she can put it on and take it off all by herself. This is a high quality swim suit. In the AZ sun and 3 hours in the pool, she didn't get any sun burns. We pair it with spf 50 on her face and make her wear a hat when she's not going under water. She had worn a bikini a few weeks ago and we missed a spot with the sun block so she got red. But we don't have to worry about that with this swimzip. Our dermatologist said the first line of defense is covering, and that she didn't love relying on SPF for kids due to all the chemicals. We are very glad we bought this suit. I will absolutely buy his brand again for future swim seasons.
