We've had this screen curtain up for about 3 weeks now, and I'm impressed that it's staying up so well. I'd known someone who had tried one and said it fell down in about 48 hours. I could tell when I put it up that this adhesive was very strong, and it's proving that it can withstand a lot of in and out. We have a large German Shepherd, who thinks it's the coolest thing ever that she can go in and out whenever she wants to now, so she exercises that new freedom CONSTANTLY. I noticed a week ago that it had drooped just a tiny bit, so I pushed it back onto the door frame and it's staying put. I know three weeks isn't a very long trial period, but given how it's holding up, I don't see us having a real problem for the rest of the summer. If it makes it through that, I'll be REALLY impressed!I'm only attaching the picture of the hole to show that it isn't impervious to long dog claws. That hole is about 2 inches in length and happened within the first 24 hours, when she was trying to learn how to go in and out on her own. She pawed at it at first, and since she was due for getting claws clipped, put a hole in it. By the next day, she had it figured out and just pushes through with her head - too late for the poor screen. I should have taken care of those claws before I put it up - but I didn't know. So be warned! It IS possible for the screen to tear. I can't hold it against the manufacturer though. Those claws were long!I will most certainly buy this again whenever this one has to be replaced. We go through it a lot too, and it's doing just what we wanted. I'm very happy with the magnetic closure, the adhesion is holding up well given the constant in and out, and it looks much nicer than most I've seen. Even if the adhesive lets go and I only get one season out of it, I would still think it's worth it. It's affordable, looks good, and can take a lot of head butting from a big dog!
