The base already had little felt pads to protect the flooring. While this table is sleek and modern, it would fit into just about any decor. The white is timeless, could be vintage, antique, or modern. It would look great even with farmhouse decor.This is an unexpected fabulous product. The beauty and quality of this table is understated in the listing. It's worth every penny of the price. A great deal for a nice dining table.
