I purchased a jacket from a name-brand outlet for $70 that was neither made as well as this jacket, or fit as well. I ordered a XXL (I weight 260), and it fits comfortably. I have worn it all the time in the Fall. Only moved to a heavier coat when the high temperature dropped below 35 degrees F. It is light weight, but that means you can pack it easily for those trips.
