Some are afraid to take mowers with synchronous motors, since the design has a belt drive, for me, on the contrary, this is a plus:
- the blow of the knife on the snag is not transmitted to the motor
- high starting power

For those who have nothing to compare with, take it, you won't regret it! For the money, this is one of the best devices. I took it for 9k

Плюсы

The build quality and materials are on a level, I have never seen cheap plastic from Makita. -Very well throws even wet and juicy grass into the tank. -Convenient turn-on handle. - It is convenient to have a network power indicator. -Does not lose momentum even in dense grass - Spacious lightweight tank

Минусы

1. Height adjustment knob. It is certainly convenient for adjustment, but when mowing the bushes, branches cling to it. So when folding the main handle in half, it presses on the height switch. As I thought when buying, there is a lack of an intermediate height position between 1 and 2 positions. 2. Short handle. Previously used a Bosch Rotak37, walked a full stride freely at 180, constantly kicking the grass tank with the Makita. 3. Noise. At Bosch, the noise level was the same, but more deaf, while at Makita, it was sonorous and with some kind of squeak on the verge of ultrasound. 4. Mowing quality. It does not cut everything, antennas are constantly left on the lawn. It crushes the grass, it feels like there is not enough speed. Bosch was the same power, but even with dull knives, the quality of the mowing was better.
