This is a very good microwave. I had to get used to it, as the controls were different from my old microwave. But, it was very easy to learn, and the instructions were very easy to understand. I really like how much light it seems to have inside. Probably because it's white inside, where my old one was stainless inside. My only wish would be that the controls would have a back light. My husband has macular degeneration and can't see the writing. The 30 sec. run when you hit only start though solves most of his problems. Mostly he reheats things. I like that you can continue to press start and it will add 30 sec. each time. That way you can reheat most things. The normal way of putting in the correct minutes is easy also. I love it and hope to have it for a long time. Sharp is a dependable brand.
