Space age fabric protects the cart
very light weight but seems durable. I like that there is a strap that goes under from one side to the other to further secure the cover. The strap is not necessary because the cover has an elastic bottom that does a good job of sealing the cart to keep small animals out. I use this on a cart on a ranch that sits for weeks at a time and is exposed to high winds and drastic weather. So far so good
