works well and is better than most pruning shears

The trimmer works fine and the recaching action gives you more leverage to cut larger branches . My primary complaint is the locking slide , when i received the trimer the lock was on and i had to work about 30 minutes and exert a lot of force to get it open and no matter how hard i try i am unable too close the trimer blades for storage. It appears to be well made with the exception of this feature.

The reinforced handle design can be uncomfortable to grip for extended periods, especially for those with larger hands
