Even with the problems, I prefer this to one's I've seen in local stores but I do wish they would fix the problems.Note the instructions issues -- the instructions in the box are just drawings and not the greatest to put it mildly.If you care about how pieces match and go together, note that the bottom of the base (the part on the floor, beneath the part that rotates) is a solid white (as is the piece you attach to the base for the back to attach to, which is visible) while the rotating part and the mirror are a grayish-white wood grain. Also, the interior of the shelves in the back are black. It would all look better if it was all done in wood grain. Also, the screws you put in at the bottom to attach the thing to the bar at the back should probably be nuts and bolts instead of screws.The shelves in the back of mine are not flush -- part of one sticks out beyond the edge of the piece it is attached to. As it is in the box, I can live with it, but if I had it positioned so that I saw it more often it would be very annoying.You need two people and your own screwdriver. Mine arrived with the screws and such in a sealed package that looked as if it was made to hold a little screwdriver, but it is not provided. Luckily a standard phillips head did the trick.
