If you are somewhat mechanically inclined, the issues with this model can be worked out. It is of good build quality, but needs to be taken apart and the manufacturer's grease removed/replaced with bearing grease (an easy job - see YouTube videos). What they use is way too stiff and impedes easy rotation. The tilt knob has some play when loosened up and is another easy fix if you take it apart and add a rubber washer to allow for fine drag adjustment (again, YouTube videos exist on how to perform). For the cost and knowing these minor limitations, it is a great value and I will definitely keep and use it.
