I usually wear btwn med-large (5'5" @ 145 lbs). I ordered a large and it fits perfectly. I was able to tuck in all the arm flab because the bodice sits up high enough. The straps were just right. The dress portion is sewn low so that it doesn't float all over the place when you jump into the water. The swim shorts portion is wonderful! They cover up the buttocks nicely without elastic bulge! The ruched/gathered front conceals belly bulges too! I have the navy blue and really like it! Didn't want to order yet another black suit.but this is plenty dark to hide what needs to be hidden ;)
