The shelf arrived nicely packaged, yet it appeared as though there was some damage to it pre-packaging. The top has scuff marks and both front corners are slightly damaged as though it had been dropped on them. Nonetheless, I decided to keep it as these issues wouldn't be visible where I installed it. Instructions for installing were directed at drywall. I hung it on painted wood paneling and thus didn't need the anchors included. It leans slightly downwards - not so much that items will fall off, but just enough such that it is noticeable. Overall it's not a bad product, and it appears to be sturdy though it definitely does not appear to be made of wood. I'm okay with it; it'll serve for the purpose it was purchased for. But knowing these issues before hand, I probably would've kept looking.
