I recently got into puzzles (never done them) and I started off with 100 pieces just to test the waters and then quickly moved up to 300 pieces…then 500 pieces. I completed several of those and found that I did really well with them and I was enjoying it so I decided to go for it and get this 1000 piece puzzle…that was a huge mistake! I spent HOURS last night trying to put together these pieces and guess what? Many of the pieces fit with every other piece for the most part so they are pretty much interchangeable. You just can’t figure out which piece goes where and it’s very confusing and frustrating. I’m gonna have to just stop doing it and give it away or throw it out. They say that really cheap puzzles are made so that a lot of the pieces are interchangeable but high-quality puzzles-all the pieces are distinctly different which is important when you’re working on a large puzzle. I’m super bummed because I was really looking forward to doing this one but I guess lesson learned.
