I gave up running when I retired from the Army, but these pants are ideal for kayaking, which I do weekly. These award winning pants are light-weight, comfortable, and good-looking. The pockets are deep. I can easily roll up the pant legs a bit for getting out of my kayak. They're also good for being lazy, for lounging around the house or relaxing on the patio. They're listed as ideal for Summer, but I think in the Spring and Autumn they'd be fine as well. They're not waterproof, but that's OK with me. If you're getting them for jogging, you won't be bogged down by them. I'm very satisfied; you should be too.
