We use the guinea pig daddy liners which are quite nice but very expensive. After about a year and a half, we began purchasing more to give our older ones some relief without having to throw them out.Our 4 guinea pigs favor one particular spot among their 2 habitats that are connected by ramp. That spot gets so much abuse that it takes 2 washes to get it kind of clean after only about 2 days of use, with daily cleaning. We fold these blankets in half over this spot and swap it out with a fresh one every day, helping take some of the abuse to extend the liner's lifespan. They work great.
