This is a very pretty blanket. It is not quite blanket sized, in that it wouldn't cover a bed, but it is large enough to comfortably cover most adults from neck to toe while watching TV, napping on the couch, etc.It is made in India and is 100% acrylic. It is soft, but not like microfiber. The care instructions say to spot clean only. I don't much care for that because, let's face it, a blanket or throw is eventually going to get dirty and then what will I do? I have looked online and everything I find says that it's okay to wash an acrylic blanket in a regular washer, so I guess when it does finally need to be washed, I'll have to give it a try. I'll try to remember to update my review after I've washed it.
