I am a very active 75 year old, 5'7" and 148 lbs. I usually wear a size 10 -12. Based on other reviews, I ordered a large and am very pleased with the fit. I chose this style for their length, comfortable waistband, quick dry fabric and all around versatility, being able to easily stuff them in a suitcase without concern for wrinkles. I purchased a pair in black and navy blue, and particularly love the "shade" of navy.
