So far I like.I replaced an old soffit mounted dual halogen security light with this one. It is switch activated not light or motion detection activated. It was pretty easy to install, I didn't have a J-box or anything to attach it to, but I drilled two holes through the body of the unit (careful to not damage internal components), and then just used two long screws to attach it to the soffit. Total time to remove the old light, modify this one, and attach it was about 15 minutes.Don't buy this thinking it comes with full mounting hardware as it doesn't and that's ok. You'll either need to modify it and attach it directly to whatever you are trying to or purchase a J-box with this and make sure your area is cut and ready for that.
