I really don’t like that I have to post this review. I purchased this kit a couple of months ago and the coating did its job. But there is huge problem not only with this kit, but also with the customer service. A little disclaimer, I wash my colored towels all twice before use. I was using the red towel that came with the kit to wipe down a part of the cari was going to paint with simple Isopropyl alcohol. I left the towel on the hood for 15 seconds, and once I removed it, I found this ghastly stain on my hood. I used every single thing I possibly could to remove it without tearing the clear off, and could not remove it. On July 19th, I sent an email about this issue asking if they knew a way to remove this without having to repaint my entire hood, and no one responded. I wrote them another email last night, 8 days later, telling them that someone needs to hold accountability for this cheap crappy towel that potentially cost me hundreds to thousands of dollars, and I’ve yet to reply. It’s a shame that this company advertises on all platforms about how amazing everything is, but doesn’t stand by their customer support or products whatsoever. Needless to say, I will be reaching out to my local body shop to get a quote for repainting of this hood, and I will not stop telling people to stay away from this product until this issue is rectified. I am furious to say the least that they used such a garbage quality material in there kit, and that they choose to simply ignore me as an upset customer. Do NOT buy this product unless you want to end up with a mess, and no one to take blame for selling garbage.
