The hard cardboard floor piece didn’t fit properly because they cut the corners of the canvas house too short so it was hard to fit that in, which is crucial in building this house as you need it level plus you have to screw it together with the outside bottom (I needed a couple of longer screws because of the poor sewing at the corners) I could not screw in the last screw tight enough so I had to get help with the last one from my dad. If they measured properly it would have been very easy to assemble! I used my battery screwdriver as I have arthritis, that worked well! Also, the fabric cover for the heating pad wasn’t long enough to properly fit inside of that so I put the opening towards the back of the house. When you are zipping it closed (the roof) it gets harder to zip around the corners, it said to add the plastic door flap last but it’s VERY DIFFICULT to attach that inside from the outside of the door! I couldn’t get that to attach well and level so I left it off! Unfortunately when I had roof work done on my house the roofer set this big roll of tape on top of the kitty house roof so now the roof dents inward there so I have to figure out how to prop that back up, the kitties must not weigh as much as that tape as the kitties stand and sit in the roof without it caving in! But if they leap off of the roof the house can go flying down the steps! Now for the good aspects of this adorable little kitty house- it’s off of the ground, the heating pad is WONDERFUL as it has many heat levels plus you can choose a time limit or to have on 24 hours a day that’s really nice! Kitties seem to love it! Some kitties like to try to "own it” by hogging it to themselves but others share it. I’ve seen as many as 3 medium sized full grown cats. I have other kitty condos my husband made for me years ago plus a heated bed but this cute, little house was a good addition to my front steps for kitties that don’t like to be with a lot of other kitties! I would buy this again but would return it if the parts didn’t fit again! Kitties love it and seem to stay warm in our very cold temperatures!
