Easily as good as other blankets that cost 2x as much
Installing it was the worst part with the engine in the truck. The location of the turbo on a ‘15 Cummins makes for some interesting contortions, however, the results speak volumes. Averaging about 20° cooler under hood temps. Paired with an exhaust header blanket and couldn’t be happier after 3rd gen swapping the turbo and manifold. Exhaust wrap is up next
- Was hoping to fit this under an internal wastegate arm but t4 is too big to begin with
- The blanket covers the turbocharger, an important component for many car enthusiasts. This can detract from the beauty of the engine bay and reduce the overall aesthetics of the vehicle
