Thanks to covid, having to do my own hair care has gone up a significant amount, just as it has for a majority of people around the world.I honestly don't know if this is a new product in response to the increased market request for hair care products, but it works as well as i need. I started off with a similarly priced Phillips all in one kit which was a bit smaller and lighter. That product lasted maybe 3 1/2 full haircuts before it died out. This could've been a combination of cheap design and my poor cleaning process, but it was clear either way that it wasn't happy cutting a full head of hair.This kit works as well as i remember my professional barbers clippers working. Cuts through hair clean without snagging and i don't hear any struggles from the motor being bogged down under load.Only downside i see is the weight. These things are fairly heavy, easily double the weight of the Phillips clippers i had previously. The battery is much bigger, the materials seem like all metal, and the blades themselves seem much more substantial. In some cases it is a good thing, but trying to hold this for extended period of time may cause some wrist discomfort. I took my sweet time slowly trimming my hair down in stages compared to one full trim to the lowest height. I'm sure you can alleviate some of these issues simply by cutting off all your hair quickly in a few swipes.Another thing i wish for (which is a small complaint) is adjustable blade lengths for the specialty trimmer that comes with this. It seems a fair bit too wide for everything, certainly when trying to get behind the ears or for your beard/mustache. But in any case this is not a deal breaker at all.Overall this kit has worked flawlessly and comes with a great package of accessories. Well worth the extra cost over some other entry level kits that only include 1 trimmer. Only time will tell of the overall quality. I only have 1 cut in which i used for about 30-45minutes. In that time the battery life was excellent and didn't even drop to below 90%.RECOMMENDED!
