This is the first product in line that I have tried and I do not see myself ever being without it again. Not sure how it will hold up in AL summer humidity since it was fall when I started using it. I love the shine and softness that comes with this gel. I mainly use it on refresh days. It is a little thick so I emulsify with water and use praying hands and rake a bit then scrunch it in. I have plopped with it and not added more after taking hair out of plop and liked the results. But my favorite is to plop then lightly glaze more and scrunch it again then diffuse. And I really like the refresh days of just misting warm water, emulsifying gel with water and applying then scrunching and letting it air dry. I am a wavy, (2b, 2c, 3a), however, my hair does well with heavier products. This product, although thick, is light and does not weigh my hair down at all and frizz is very minimal.
