These faucets leak and are defective!

I had a plumber install this and it leaks at the line that’s factory attached to it and cannot be repaired. This is the second Fossett I’ve bought from this manufacture do not buy these, they are pretty but they don’t hold up and leaked upon installation.

how would i get behind the screen mesh to clear any debris/sediment ?

The brushed nickel finish may show scratches and wear over time
