I didn't have any weird smells. Please give me a link to an adapter for regular coffee, I would love to buy two more adapters! With its pros: Great machine for the money, delicious coffee, works fast enough! Cons below: To make two coffees, you need to wash the adapter, but this is not even a drawback, rather an inconvenience
