You will need an adapter. When I ordered it on revain the only picture in the ad showed the drill with a1/2” shank. What I received had a 5/8-11 female. I don't know if this has happened to other people or if I'm a only a one off. The tool itself is average, nothing special. The only tools I have that take a 5/8-11 are angle grinders so these must be for cleaning up edges and stuff. So my experience from this company was a bad one so I have to take stars from it. Original ad said a drill with a 1/2” shank which would have fit my milling machine. Now I have to adapted it .
