Just finished our first batch of dehydrated apples and persimmons, which were a big success. This dehydrator is easy to setup with clear instructions (albeit a few typos). The temperature and time controls work great.Recipes online usually talk about brushing on sugar, cinnamon or some kind of fruit juice. We found this unnecessary. Dehydrating concentrates the natural sweetness, so we didn't add anything.This is a great value for the money. You need to pay a lot more to get much better. Happy customer.
