I bought one thinking I could just switch them out of one shoe and into another after 8-12 hrs of stretching. HOWEVER, it actually takes longer than 8 hrs to stretch your shoe, so I ended up buying another one. I didn't purchase the recommended spray that's supposed to help with the stretching (this spray pops up with you view the product). I just don't want to risk spraying my leather shoes with something. I never tightened it too much where I felt like there was too much tension for fear of over stretching or even breaking the product. The stretcher does work well, but you do need to keep them in for at least 24 to 48 hrs.
