I'm 5'6", 138 lbs, dress size 10, ordered a medium based on size chart. It was a struggle (sort of) to get up and on, but once in place, fit nicely. Then I wore it to a wedding and by the end of the night, I could barely breathe, my stomach felt so tight I actually felt sick. I liked the "look" of it under my dress so I ordered another 1 in a large to have for my daughter's wedding next month but could not get them past mid-thigh, a problem I did NOT have w/ the medium. Maybe a mismark? But talk about tight! I actually bruised my thighs trying to get them up! Noticed they were NOT the same product as the one I had originally bought - odd, altho I clicked on "my orders" and ordered the next size of the previous one. Returned large for an XL, and they were much more comfy, maybe not as much restraint as I'd like in tummy area, but hopefully it'll look good when I go for my gown fitting. If not, back to the drawing board!
