These boots are warm, comfy and lightweight but NOT waterproof. Great in snow, but your feet will be soaked if there is too much slush. Good traction. I am in New England so I use them a couple times a week in the winter. Great for running around doing errands but I can't see that they would hold up to constant wear. I HATE winter boots, but these are a good option for the days that I need winter boots.
