ordered this hearing device use as a backup for my expensive prescription hearing aid. Compared with that one, this device is smaller and lighter. It comes with batteries, cleaning brush, the usual array of ear tips, etc., nicely & securely packaged in a small, well made case. Everything appears to be good quality.I had some difficulties with this hearing aid at first,with low pitched static and high pitched feedback,After trying different ear tips and experimenting with placement in my ear, that was greatly improved. I found that the battery lasted as long as those in the fancy prescription hearing aid I’ve used.I found that switching between modes& adjusting volume are easily done, and the beeps that signal these changes are loud & easy to hear.The overall sound of this device is quite rich and clear, and though it can’t really be custom tuned to one’s own hearing loss, I found it to be helpful, though in the loudest environments (loud restaurant or city noise) it was less so.Overall, this is a good product, & could be very helpful to those trying hearing aids for the first time.
